 I manually installed the i386 package using dpkg after downloading it.
 After that, sudo apt-get -f install worked.

 But it is workaround, and definitely not the solution. Requesting that
 this problem should be looked into further.

Hi,
I am using Linux Mint 64 bit edition Maya.
And I am in similar problem. Thing is, I do not remember disabling the i386  
packages in /etc/apt/sources.list
And it is trying to pull both amd64 and i386 updates.
Here is the output of sudo apt-get -f install

dpkg: error processing libk5crypto3:i386 (--configure):
 libk5crypto3:i386 1.10+dfsg~beta1-2ubuntu0.2 cannot be configured because 
libk5crypto3:amd64 is in a different version (1.10+dfsg~beta1-2ubuntu0.3)
dpkg: error processing libk5crypto3 (--configure):
 libk5crypto3:amd64 1.10+dfsg~beta1-2ubuntu0.3 cannot be configured because 
libk5crypto3:i386 is in a different version (1.10+dfsg~beta1-2ubuntu0.2)
