Cas, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-nouveau REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. I'm running Xubuntu 13.10. The problem never seemed to crop up on 13.04, though I didn't use that for long. It only ever seems to happen when Firefox has been running for a while, though the last time I managed to set it off by running a 3d application (geomview) while Firefox was running. This effects two computers that I have, both running older GeForce cards. Same here with GeForce 7025, in adition ther is a lot of video corruption and gets worse while playing flash video. I've got the same problem. Crashes mostly while watching youtube videos. But _usr_bin_Xorg.0.crash has zero bytes lenght.
