Uname -a returns : Linux cascade 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun 7 20:19:32 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux I cannot try the nv drivers, as they cause this card to hang with corruption on boot - again a common/known issue. On install, I have to go to CLI, swap to vesa in xorg.conf, install the nvidia-binaries, then reconfigure xorg.conf to use them.
