As far as I know, upgrading to the latest version of Adept fixes this problem. Please upgrade to the latest version and verify this. Marking this bug as Fix Released. This bug has reappeared in Gutsy for adept-updater. I have two computers that have been updated to gutsy by running kdesu 'adept_manager --version-upgrade' via Alt-F2. On both computers adept-updater now keeps offering a Version Upgrade after each update.
