I'm afraid I haven't been able to reproduce the bug after the one time I saw it. Once I opened the evolution calendar, the system was back to normal, and I haven't seen that behavior since then. I am seeing this behavior as well. I'm running Feisty 7.04. evolution-data-server 1.10.1-0ubuntu1 (i386). And I see the exact same output for strace. I also have a a few web calendars set up. An update: As soon as I started up the evolution calendar, the evolution-data-server CPU usage dropped to normal levels.
