[Bug 1059113] Re: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC883, Green Line Out, Rear] Pulseaudio fails to detect card
I found the solution!! To get rid of this annoying problem I 'purged' Pulseaudio, restarted my computer, installed pulseaudio again, and after that installed the 'volume indicator'. Sinds then (2-3 months ago) its working perfect!! It never worked for so long, even after a fresh reinstall I had the same problem after a week. So for those of you who don't understand: sudo apt-get purge pulseaudio -y Restart sudo apt-get install pulseaudio -y sudo apt-get install indicator-sound -y restart Cheers -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059113 Title: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC883, Green Line Out, Rear] Pulseaudio fails to detect card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1059113/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1059113] Re: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC883, Green Line Out, Rear] Pulseaudio fails to detect card
I saw this "[ 241.848195] 2:3:3: cannot set freq 16000 to ep 0x86" appearing in my 'virtual terminal' when I switch to it using'crtl+alt+f1'. I don't know what this means, or if its a problem in the first place. so I left it the way it is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059113 Title: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC883, Green Line Out, Rear] Pulseaudio fails to detect card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1059113/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
