Public bug reported: I'm running Quantal development release up to date. Sometimes application windows that I close appear to be still open, but it's an 'image overlay' on the desktop (on all desktop spaces). I'm including a snapshot as this doesn't make a lot of sense.
Basically, it looks like the application window is still there, but it's not. In the attached picture, I am showing all desktop spaces and it appears that a chrome browse window with a google search is present in all of them... but there is no open browser window anywhere and clicking on any of them does nothing. Also, I can open new browser windows that work fine, so it's not a chrome problem. I have seen the same behaviour with other applications than chrome so I believe it's not app specific. ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: quantal ** Attachment added: "phantomwindows.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067227/+attachment/3399846/+files/phantomwindows.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067227 Title: Closed windows appear as phantom desktop overlay To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1067227/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
