Public bug reported:
After I click the "Buy" button, I see 2 operations eternally in
progress. 1 is: "querying software sources" and 2 is "Installing [X]"
but the throbber oscillates from left to right and back again - never
processing.
I tried an apt-get update and the output was sketchy. See attached.
