Hi melchiaros, Sorry for my first irritation. I would like to help you but is very hard to me to remember the exact situation. Probably I had a lot of unusual packages installed on my system because I like to experiment (development, image video editing). I cannot remember and now is too late to verify because I use an other distro. Are there some specific Software that you have installed that you expect not to much other users have too. Hi turul69, that are bad news. The ubuntu-release-upgrader should be one of the most reliable programs we have here. Sorry, for the inconvenience. Could you help us on further handling here. I am a bit in doubt that this report is on the correct package. ubuntu-release-upgrader is first indroduced with Ubuntu12.04. Before that it was just the update-manager that must do all the job. Mhh, yes we need some logs here. Can you provide? You may want to run apport-collect 1068297 from termianl(if there are any missed libraries for the process, please install them). There should also be a folder /var/log/dist-upgrade could you compress that folder and attach it here? In fact that folder might be more important than the apoort procedure.
