Public bug reported: After installing ATI proprietary drivers for my Radeon video card, Unity doesn't start anymore. LightDM shows up, and I'm able to log in, but Unity doesn't load.
Removing the package fixes the problem, getting back to the opensource driver (ati). Obs: The same occurs when installing fglrx package (if I choose it, instead of fglrx-updates).
