Sebastian. As of now I seem to be getting three behaviours. When I insert a dvd it plays automatically in Totem Movie Player. I also get the desktop icon which has a a right click option to 'Open with "Movie Player" ' ( should I report as a bug that it's not named "Totem Movie Player" in that text?). If I just open the DVD the button appears at the top to "Open Movie Player".
