If there was a tablet interface for Ubuntu Software Center, it would
indeed not focus the search field by default. Quite possibly it wouldn't
even have a search field visible by default. But Ubuntu Software Center
currently does not have a tablet interface, so this bug is invalid. I
think it's invalid for System Settings for the same reason.
