I am seeing the same errors in the last few days. I'm getting this error, along with size-mismatch errors, consistently in my attempts to upgrade to feisty. I am running through an apt-cacher on my firewall box, a stable debian box. Thanks for your report. This is almost certainly a consequence of the whole world trying to install Feisty simultaneously; you'll probably find it works fine in a day or two.
