Opps it appears this bug is not fixed in Lubuntu raring desktop amd64 in current 20121207. 1) clean entire drive install 2) Attempted along side install failed 3) installed manual install successful 4) attempted another along side install failed Partitions did not show sizes and I was not able to re-size the partitions. Installing Lubuntu powerpc.iso 20121206 and the along side seems to be going well.
