Public bug reported: If i press ctrl+alt+f1-6, the system appears to freeze up--the mouse does not move, and text entered does not update the display. I can press ctrl+alt+f7 to get back to GDM, however, after which the system behaves normally.
Sometimes, after switching to a text-mode virtual console, the frozen GDM screen does something odd, such as shifting a few inches to the side. I'm using fiesty with the 'nv' xorg module. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Can't switch to text terminals https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
