The high level answer is, the nexus7 Kconfig should turn on the same options as the standard Ubuntu kernel. So if Ubuntu turns them on, but the n7 does not, it is probably an oversight. Probably the real way to fix all these bugs is for the kernel team to do a diff of the Kconfigs and sync them up... Can you please clarify specifically which kernel modules you are looking for?
