Duplicity should apparently use NcFTP for ftp transfer it doesn't because if i uninstall NcFTP i should receive "NcFTP not found: Please install NcFTP version 3.1.9 or later" but it doesn't. Update: I have made a new clean install of ubuntu 13.04, the networkdriver are now brcmsmac.
