Public bug reported: The German translation in the integrated help in bash is broken:
$ LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 help pwd pwd: pwd [-LP] be a literal `]', to match the opening `['.< $ LANG=C help pwd pwd: pwd [-LP] Print the name of the current working directory. Options: -L print the value of $PWD if it names the current working directory -P print the physical directory, without any symbolic links By default, `pwd' behaves as if `-L' were specified. Exit Status: Returns 0 unless an invalid option is given or the current directory cannot be read. $ ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: bash 4.2-2ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-22.34~precise1-generic 3.5.7.2 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-22-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: talpa_vfshook talpa_pedconnector talpa_pedevice talpa_vcdevice talpa_core talpa_linux talpa_syscallhook ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu17.1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Jan 31 10:53:53 2013 MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: bash UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: bash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1111293 Title: Translation wrong in “help pwd” To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bash/+bug/1111293/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
