Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-kdump
I am experiencing many kernel panics on an amd64 laptop. I wanted to try kdump to get some more info, but I see it is not available any longer. Maybe a dev can explain why? And how can I get to the bottom of my kernel panics (hard panic) as I would in Red Hat / Fedora? http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FC6KdumpKexecHowTo ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.17 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- linux-image-kdump is missing in feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111135 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
