Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-kdump

I am experiencing many kernel panics on an amd64 laptop. I wanted to
try kdump to get some more info, but I see it is not available any
longer. Maybe a dev can explain why? And how can I get to the bottom
of my kernel panics (hard panic) as I would in Red Hat / Fedora?
