Hi Daniel, we added the COPYING file and extended the control file. For the 
icons, we did redesign and build them, so maybe we don't need to specify the 
dependence:).

Thanks a lot for your work on this. This looks much better now. The only
remaining things I can see are:

 - add a COPYING file to the source with the GPL3 text
 - extend the package description in debian/control a bit
 - and maybe specify which in debian/copyright (or in a separate file(?)) which 
icons were based on which other icons, just so everybody knows.

Is there a way Mathieu's icon set could be packaged and your project
could then depend on it? I'm asking because we generally try to avoid
duplication of code in the archive. Also would it be good to be very
specific about where other code is coming from, which license it is
under, etc.

Another few small bits:
 - the package description is quite short
 - you might not want to install Thumbs.db files
 - the index.theme file is executable
 - you might want to follow http://wiki.debian.org/Projects/DebSrc3.0
 - you might want to change to "Architecture: all"

Thanks. we updated the copyright and control files in the following attachment.
Currently, we used icon theme at https://launchpad.net/~tiheum/+archive/equinox 
by Matthieu James, and we did some small modification. While, we plan to modify 
most resource in Feb and Mar according to our UI design, so we want to submit 
it as a separate project.

This doesn't make sense to me.  If all of the icons are copyright to
someone else, why are they included in this package - instead of
depending on another package that provides them?  Has this theme been
based on another existing icon theme - if so, what one?  (This
information should be included somewhere in the package - preferably in
debian/copyright.)

In debian/control, you have:

Description: ubuntukylin theme
 Theme for UbuntuLykin

This should read:

Description: UbuntuKylin theme
 Theme for UbuntuKylin

Since UbuntuKylin is a proper name, it should be capitalized - and the
typo in the second line should be fixed.

Note that the debian/copyright you have does not strictly meet
.
This is not a blocker for sponsorship, but you may want to be aware of
it and fix it at some point.
