Would it be possible for you to get this to happen from console, and take digital photo of the screen when it occurs? We noticed this bug before in feisty, but worked around it by moving users back to the IDE driver (this is an ata_piix issue, I am guessing, please attach lspci -vvn output so I can confirm).
