This bug affects also Raring Ubuntu Desktop amd64 daily: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20130214/raring-desktop-amd64.iso. I booted my laptop: http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/CarlaSella/HP%20G62%20Notebook%20PC from this ISO and it booted correclty, I was asked if I wanted to install Ubuntu or try Ubuntu.
