I'm sorry for the delay, but I've been quite busy. The problem occurs when I hibernate and then I suspend. It doesn't come back from suspend, while if I do hibernate again it works without problems. I'm attaching the portion of /var/log/messages and the full pm-suspend. Why was this marked as Incomplete? The problem still happens. I don't think its a gpm issue because the problem occurs even using the pm-suspend command. Well, suspend continues to fail sometimes, but I don't think its a gpm issue, ie, gpm doesn't crash anymore. I'm already using Hardy. In order to fix suspend I tried all possible hal quirks but it continues to fail.. and it's very difficult to know the cause because usually it runs without problems but sometimes it fails.
