The kernel devmapper modules no longer permit you to create devices
based on any that are already in use (e.g. mounted, or with partitions)

Same on my X40.

I don't know what exactly happens but this makes the machine so slow
that it's not usable at all. Same with linux-image-2.6.22-5-generic.

same here, but my wireless works.

i have full of:

failed

maybe related to lvm2
