[Bug 115611] Re: gcompris messes up screen
Have you been able to confirm this on another computer? I works fine for me with a single screen. Is it perhaps a multihead issue? ** Changed in: gcompris (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- gcompris messes up screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115611 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The resolution of the screen is set to 800x600 and is not being set back after gcompris exits or crashes. I start gcompris always with -w now, to avoid that. [Bug 115611] Re: gcompris messes up screen
This bug is partly a dupe of 97611 (the tuxpaint bug). The rest (messed up screen) is still valid. However, I discovered that gcompris can be run with -w, and then it runs in a window. By default, it runs full screen. This effects Edubuntu Feisty and Kubuntu Feisty. In both cases the sreens' resolution is set to 800x600, and after Gcompris exits, the resolution is (for example) 1024 x 768 but the viewport is 800x600, which means that you need to scroll around the screen to do stuff. -- gcompris messes up screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115611 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
