I can confirm this bug on Feisty amd64. It launched the recovery dialogue, and opened OpenOffice Writer later. Hello, I think I have the same problem, in two computers running Ubuntu Feisty, one i386 based and the other amd64. The problem I have is that everytime I open a pps file with openoffice and launch the presentation, when I close it I get the recovery for documents dialog (the same I get when some error ocurr and openoffice tries to recover the work done) and openoffice is restarted. If I don't launch the presentation (just open the pps file and work with the slides), I don't have this error. (I have attached a screenshot of the dialog).
