I think this issue affects me too. I have a Gigabyte Z68MS-UD2H-B3 Motherboard with Precise and I got this error when coming back from suspend. The latest kernel version not affected is 3.2.0.39 All other version show this issue. I also tried with linux-image-3.2.49-030249-generic-pae. This did not show the message, but I am not so sure, because there where a lot of other message, maybe masking this "Power management discrepancy: GEN6_RP_INTERRUPT_LIMITS,.." @penalvch: Yes, I'd be happy to provide an impact statement. I don't perceive any problems with suspend or resume - it is working just fine, as it does on my Windows laptops (dual boot on the same system as well as an HP EliteBook work system). The message is innocuous. It is, however, still happening into v3.2.49, and sometimes the power discrepancy values are different (I can't remember them off the top of my head).
