[Bug 1172670] Re: THinkPad X121e : WLAN disabled after waking from suspend
Hello Christopher, thank you for your suggestion! I updated the BIOS to the latest available version, and the bug with the WLAN getting turned off after sleep now appears to be solved. I've restested with several sleep/wake cycles and the bug does not appear at all anymore. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172670 Title: THinkPad X121e : WLAN disabled after waking from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1172670/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1172670] Re: THinkPad X121e : WLAN disabled after waking from suspend
Peter B P, as per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an update is available for your BIOS (1.19/1.17). If you update to this, does it change anything? If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. [Bug 1172670] Re: THinkPad X121e : WLAN disabled after waking from suspend
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.9 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance.
