I tried using Option "AGPMode" "8" with the following results: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ glxgears 709 frames in 5.3 seconds = 132.843 FPS 678 frames in 5.3 seconds = 127.904 FPS 1469 frames in 5.2 seconds = 280.979 FPS 1469 frames in 5.3 seconds = 277.919 FPS 1469 frames in 5.2 seconds = 282.150 FPS 1469 frames in 5.3 seconds = 278.089 FPS 1469 frames in 5.2 seconds = 281.948 FPS 1469 frames in 5.3 seconds = 278.148 FPS 1469 frames in 5.4 seconds = 273.462 FPS 1469 frames in 5.3 seconds = 279.141 FPS Xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log follows: -- ATI Radeon 9200 AGP bus Non-Functional Xorg driver ati https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 117875] Re: ATI Radeon 9200 AGP bus Non-Functional Xorg driver ati
w4ett said somewhere else that this is a "8X AGP RV280 64MB 9200SE". However, this line from the Xorg.0.log (running AGP): (II) RADEON(0): [agp] Mode 0x1f004e09 [AGP 0x1039/0x0741; Card 0x1002/0x5964] indicates AFAICS that the card is running 4X. I would suggest trying: Option "AGPMode" "8" in xorg.conf -- ATI Radeon 9200 AGP bus Non-Functional Xorg driver ati https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
