[Bug 1181318] Re: Very frequent crash of xorg

2014-01-08 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Nazar Mokrynskyi, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-ati REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

[Bug 1181318] Re: Very frequent crash of xorg

2014-01-08 Thread Nazar Mokrynskyi
Now I have another video card, I'm using Gnome shell, and even migrated to
another physical PC.
I think, you can close it. But it was very bad behaviour.
As I rememder - I gave up and migrated to Gnome shell, which is not very stable
too, but much better in comparison.

[Bug 1181318] Re: Very frequent crash of xorg

2013-05-17 Thread Nazar Mokrynskyi
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected compiz-0.9 reproducible saucy third-
party-packages ubuntu

** Description changed:

I'm observing very frequent crashes of xorg. They starts after transition to
new monitor with resolution 2560x1440 on Raring, now on Saucy they are very
frequent.
Mainly, occurs at usage of Resize Window compiz plugin, opening youtube video
to fullscreen and opening video in vlc to fullscreen.

Sometimes it resumes to work (like reloading of compiz), sometimes
resumes without compiz (impossible to use after this), sometimes xorg
  crashes at all.

Graphics card Radeon HD6570, radeon driver.
