Solution for those who do not use a manually configured interface: You can get the shared password decrypted at http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/bin/cisco-decode If you setup a VPN profile via the NetworkManager applet, it should work like a charm when disconnecting. I have a college with the exact same problem, I do not know if he has resolv.conf installed. I feel like this bug was just left out, forgotten. My description is a little bit different: - Before I installed resolvconf network was unstable After installing resolvconf... - During execution my DNS is changed to my companys servers - When vpnc-disconnect is called my DNS configuration is left blank, so networking does not work.
