Public bug reported: When calling a Petsc routine PetscInitialize(&argc,&args,(char *)0,help) the program gives a segmentation fault if I launch eclipse using the command sudo eclipse and compile the code using a makefile that I provide. If I launch eclipse using sudo su, then launch eclipse and after if I compile using the same makefile, the program runs. If I try to run the executable code compiled with the option sudo eclipse in the sudo su eclipse, it also crashes. If I execute the program made with the option sudo su eclipse in the environment sudo eclipse it runs.
