[Bug 1194455] Re: Subwoofer=Front Right? interface problem
The subwoofer only outputs lower frequencies from a stereo signal, not from a true subwoofer signal. I know it. I am talking about GUI problem. For instance, when I change the volume of left speaker, the volume of subwoofer would not change. However when I change the volume of front right speaker, the sound of subwoofer changes. if outputs lower frequencies from a stereo signal is the subwoofer sound, it should be affected by both right and left and maybe rear speakers but the output is conmpletely dominated by front right speaker. I suspect this problem is not depend on hardware as long as x.1 mode. As I reported regarding other issues, PulseAudio related GUI behaves very strangely. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1194455 Title: Subwoofer=Front Right? interface problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1194455/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1194455] Re: Subwoofer=Front Right? interface problem
are you using 4.1 profile or 4.0 profile in sound preference ? the volume of the subwoofer is controlled by the hardware volume control of your creative 4.1 speakers you have to post the pulseaudio verbose log to study the channel mixing matrix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1194455 Title: Subwoofer=Front Right? interface problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1194455/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1194455] Re: Subwoofer=Front Right? interface problem
I checked the behavior today. I found out that it seems to be fixed. Subwoofer sound would be muted only 4 other speakers are muted. I am looking forward to see other problems being fixed.
