I have now applied the patches of the following upstream bug report
https://bugs.linuxfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1170
to the upstream BZR repository of cups-filters. They allow PDF forms as
banner page templates, which makes it easy to add banner page templates
in other languages (examples for English and Russian are included).
This will be part of the 1.0.47 upstream release of cups-filters.
