Yes, it still happens. I "sanitized" (semi-anonymized) the source document, then created a data file with nine fake addresses, and merged it, creating the same result. When I merge this document, I see two copies of each image in the output file, with the duplicate image floating near the top of each page. Steps to create & link data: I created the data in a spreadsheet, then copied and pasted as unformatted text into a text document (to create a tab delimited data source with a proper header row) then used the Address Data Source wizard to connect the data file to the "Invitation graphics sanitized.odt" document. [I will include all four files, but you can probably recreate it with fewer.
