Ok here are the list of texlive packages that are given back by apt-file when asking for the missings sty files. For now here is the list of the "missings" sty files (I compared an instalation of tetex with tetex-extra and the one with the transition packages) I still need to find in wich texlive packages these files are. Right, but texlive-humanities contains some of the files that had been in texlive-extra. So if anyone is trying to do an upgrade from texlive-2005 then it could very well break things. I had one particular file that compiled fine with texlive 2005, but failed to compile with 2007 until i added texlive-humanities. Not a big deal to me. I managed to find what I needed. I just thought you might want the information. But this is not related to the tetex-extra problem, which i sonly related to the list of packages we have to depend on.
