2007-06-27 Thread David Portwood
I've verified you have the most current version available for your arch
(amd_64) and have cancelled the bug report.

** Changed in: lm-sensors (Ubuntu)

I'd like to close this report. I think I'm having bizarre path problems
that are preventing the proper sensors file from being executed.

[Bug 122443] Re: mismatch between sensors and libsensors

2007-06-27 Thread Rkimber
Yes it's AMD64 x2

I have the current kernel 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux

I have all the latest updates.

'sudo apt-get upgrade lm-sensors' does nothing

Do you mean that reporting it here isn't enough and that I have to
contact the package maintainer, or that the 'system' should do it?

[Bug 122443] Re: mismatch between sensors and libsensors

2007-06-26 Thread David Portwood
Currently both version in i386 are:
sensors version 2.10.1 with libsensors version 2.10.1
So I assume you run 64bit ('uname -a' would tell us), if that is the case try
just 'sudo apt-get upgrade lm-sensors'
if nothing updates, then the build for 64bit should be upgraded, which should
be followed up with the package maintainer

Sorry. I was in too much of a hurry.

I'm running 7.04, with all the latest updates, on amd64 x2 (Asus M2N-E
MB)

Thanks for reporting this bug.
I have a few questions
Is this feisty or edgy?
Have you ran update manager recently?
