Both the desktop pc and the laptop are running fine now; It was a kernel bug that disappeared in recent releases. WHAT ??? I should unmount my disk ? WHY ??? Now on my laptop I'm running Gusty with *0* freezes and noapic nolapic parameters at boot. The issue remains on Feisty-2.60.20-15-generic. As the choice was to have a non-stable os or a non-stable os... It happened many more times since... I booted my desktop in recovery mode ( kernel 2.6.20-16-generic ) and it freezed during "disk mounted 29 times without check..." at 79% or something. I've runned memtest today but everything was fine. Isn't it a kernel bug? Now I'm booting kernel 2.6.20-15-generic... In few days I will report if I still have this problem.
