This is fixed for me on Arch Linux with kernel 3.12.7 and fglrx as the driver. I can confirm that this bug also affects g7s running Arch Linux. Same results on all fronts. I'm having the same issue -- my ubuntu 13.10 is the most current version and, while I can still suspend I cannot resume. My system resumes but then freezes immediately. I have an HP dv7t quad edition with the most up-to-date BIOS. I tried the latest mainline kernel and had the exact same result. I have the latest fglrx from Ubuntu installed. ii fglrx 2:13.101-0ubuntu3 amd64Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators ii fglrx-amdcccle2:13.101-0ubuntu3 amd64Catalyst Control Center for the AMD graphics accelerators ii fglrx-dev 2:13.101-0ubuntu3 amd64Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators (devel files) ii fglrx-pxpress 0.4 all Tools to enable AMD's PowerXpress According to /var/log/pm-suspend.log, the resume completes, but then the system locks up. Any help or any other diagnostics that you need, please let me know. New situation. After last night Ubuntu "base" update, suspend works, but after resume WiFi is not present (it does not show network adapters). Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.12 kernel[0].
