Public bug reported: I've defined an alias for eth0, called eth0:0 in /etc/network/interfaces like this:
auto eth0:0 iface eth0:0 inet static address 192.168.1.6 netmask 255.255.255.0 This interface doesn't come up after resume from suspend or hibernate. Only eth0, which gets its IP from DHCP, comes up. I'm using Kubuntu Feisty. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Network aliases defined don't come up upon resume from suspend/hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124164 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
