It's not the same error, because the hardware is different. You should report this upstream at http://bugzilla.kernel.org -- 0.116089] PCI: Bus #09 (-#0c) is hidden behind transparent bridge #08 (-#09) (try 'pci=assign-busses') https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124542 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I get roughly the same error. When your computer goes to GRUB, you choose Ubuntu (with kernel) and enter E to edit.. after add pci=assign-busses in front of it and type B in the keyboard to boot.. after do the two commands and attach the logs here. -- 0.116089] PCI: Bus #09 (-#0c) is hidden behind transparent bridge #08 (-#09) (try 'pci=assign-busses') https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124542 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Kernel command line: root=UUID=f234f85b-14f5-44f3-b349-cfc15194ffe9 ro quiet splash You didn't used pci=assign-busses and a kernel command. You need to boot with that option and after do a dmesg dmesg.log and a lspci -vvnn lspcivvnn.log and attach the two files to this bug. 2. Please run the command dmesg dmesg.log and attach the resulting file dmesg.log to this bug report. 3. Please run the command lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log and attach the resulting file lspci-vvnn.log to this bug report. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description doesn't yet have enough information. Please include the following additional information, if you have not already done so (please pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the Ubuntu Kernel Team: 1. Please include the output of the command uname -a in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture. 2. Please run the command dmesg dmesg.log and attach the resulting file dmesg.log to this bug report. 3. Please run the command lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log and attach the resulting file lspci-vvnn.log to this bug report. For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel- related bug reports is available at [WWW] http://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies.
