[Bug 1247061] Re: ctrl+shift+alt+arrow can't move window up or down, only left and right
Christopher, In the end I found the keyboard shortcut options via the sytem settings and found that the keyboard shortcuts for these actions had changed to something else, which I can't remember now. I set them back to the default. If it would help I could run the CD image as a live USB stick on the machine I had the problem on. Unfortunately I don't have a spare drive to do an installation. Let me know if that would be helpful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1247061 Title: ctrl+shift+alt+arrow can't move window up or down, only left and right To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1247061/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1247061] Re: ctrl+shift+alt+arrow can't move window up or down, only left and right
David White, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Thank you for your understanding.
