The Gnome team finally decided to roll that feature back, because it caused way too many problems. See last comment on their ticket and the resolution: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705177 I propose that this [bugfix] is backported to Ubuntu GNOME 14.04, as this was the first version affected by this. It was a really bad idea to do that. I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu GNOME 14.04. I sometimes want to use the terminal while playing a fullscreen video in the background.
