After upgrade from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS got this error message with three fonts "/etc/fonts/conf.d/65-khmer.conf" # uname -a Linux harri-Veriton-X2610G 3.13.0-37-generic #64-Ubuntu SMP Mon Sep 22 21:28:38 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Starting firefox from shell did show the issue. Upgraded to trusty and started getting precisely the same three error messages. After "apt-get purge fonts-khmeros-core" the errors went away. After "apt-get install fonts-khmeros-core" the errors did not come back. Maybe something was wrong in /etc/fonts/conf.d/65-khmer.conf. The bad 65-khmer.conf and the working 65-khmer.conf differ by three occurrences of (with corresponding ). These three occurrences cause the three error messages. I'm using unity, not gnome and I also have this problem.
