This is definitely fixed now; for example in the final Ubuntu 7.10 release you can see the translation perfectly fine in German and Swedish (just the first two I tried). Confirming this bug. Reproduce: Boot from latest Gutsy image, change language. Menu still shows "install with driver ..." in English. The live CD is missing localized text for "Install with driver update CD" The alternative CD is missing localized text for "Text mode install for manufacturers" Tested on Gutsy Tribe 3 even though the issue existed on the original Feisty CDs too.
