Well, now Dolphin and Konq use the same service menus. We can close this bug now. If you'd like to see new/replacement service menus, please file reports separately for them. I posted this bug on bugs.kde.org ( http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160319 ) and received a response that it's a case of distributions doing a correct installation of service-menus. From the response I got this certainly isn't 'intended behaviour' from the KDE point of view. Little addition: Now that we're moving to KDE4 (where Konqueror uses Dolphin for file management) the option of using Konqueror to access these features will no longer exist. I'm using KDE4 now and there is now way to access any service menu: you have to open the app to accomplish anything. Dolphin is meant to be a simpler application than Konqueror.
