[Bug 128418] Re: New upstream version for Deluge

2007-08-14 Thread Chris Halse Rogers
deluge-torrent (0.5.4.1-1ubuntu1) gutsy; urgency=low

  * Merge from Debian unstable (LP: #132093, #128418).
(LP: #121836) fixed in 0.5.3 upstream.
Remaining Ubuntu changes:
- debian/control:
  + Update maintainer field.
  * debian/patches/001-Disable_update_notification.dpatch:
- Disable the new version notification. We have apt for that.

deluge-torrent (0.5.4.1-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (Closes: #436839, #437205).
  * Drop 000-Fix_CFLAGS_handling patch, fixed upstream.
  * Add 000-Fix_browser.py_path patch to fix broswer launch failure (Closes:
#435464).
  * Menu: move to Applications/Network/File Transfer.
  * Drop deprecated 'Encoding' entry in desktop file.

deluge-torrent (0.5.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.
- Torrent urls supported on the command-line (Closes: #416013).
  * Update 000-Fix_CFLAGS_handling patch.
  * Break loops with '|| exit 1' in debian/rules.
  * Rewrite icons handling. Now all sizes are generated with imagemagick.
  * Fed up with upstream website changes... Drop debian/watch.

deluge-torrent (0.5.2-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (Closes: #431929, #416014, #429880).

The debian maintainer for deluge is active. I'll see if I can help him
package 0.5.4.1, then we'll sync that.

[Bug 128418] Re: New upstream version for Deluge

2007-08-07 Thread Wouter Stomp
Newest upstream is now 0.5.4:

Deluge 0.5.4 (xx August 2007)

  * Tray message includes session totals
  * Ticket #198 - Display peers countries in the Peers tab.
  * Ticket #474 - Multiple password prompts displayed
  * Pause all/resume all in tray menu
  * Peers and Files tabs are now plugins
  * New Location plugin
  * Option to use a random port every time
  * Proxy system redone - you can now specify different information for each
  type of proxy (DHT, peer, tracker, web-seed)
  * TorrentPieces plugin to view piece updates and show pieces table per file
  * EventLogger plugin to view/log every activity
  * SpeedLimiter plugin, which allows you to set speed limits on a per-torrent
  basis
  * New release alerts - Client will inform user if their version of deluge is
  outdated

Either this needs to be packaged (preferably) or 0.5.3 should be synced
from debian.

[Bug 128418] Re: New upstream version for Deluge

2007-08-02 Thread Zach Tibbitts
** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: deluge-torrent

  We've just released Deluge 0.5.3, which aims to fix several issues with
  the previous release in order to make it ready for gutsy.

  Also, it would be nice to have the package backported to feisty, as
  there is no version of deluge in feisty's repository
+
+ UPDATE: The package is in Debian, so all that's needed is a sync.

Please bdo not/b make any confirming remarks bexcept/b in the
case that you have tested a candidate backport deb and want to verify
that it is working. Random I want it too type messages only serve to
clutter up these bug reports.
