In fact I have to specify: the docking / undocking directly by clicking on the dock icin does not work in the 3 previous cases. Using 8.04 LTS with compiz, docking/undocking is not working (at all) anymore with "alltray thunderbird %u" or "alltray thunderbird" from the launcher.
