Update: After reinstalling iBus, adding, removing and reinstalling its related keyboard layout in ibus-setup, I was able to type my language again after a few combinations of those action sequences. I will like to add that this doesn't seem to be only for Korean language as I am having the exact problem with Burmese language. Ibus won't input the characters after upgrade from 13.10 to 14.04. Please check out the attached screenshot. * Do you have Korean (Hangul) in the list of input sources in the Text Entry window? * Do you see the Hangul symbol at the top of the screen? Actually I can write Korean.
