I've been running 14.04 since January. Until recently, I've had no issues 
installing the Google Talk Plugin:
http://www.google.com/intl/en/chat/voice/

Now, upon attempting to install this, via Ubuntu Software Center, I get
the following error:

"Package operation failed: The installation or removal of software
package failed."

A couple of weeks ago, I was able to install this on 14.04. However,
recently I installed the Ubuntu Daily build from scratch, and since then
I can no longer install the Google Talk Plug-in.

I realize that this is a third party software, but thought reporting
here might be legitimate, especially if an unintended change has
occurred that may be preventing this and other 3rd party packages from
installing as desired.
